Send money to anybody with a PesewaPay account using their phone number. It arrives immediately — there is no clearing period and no waiting for a batch to run overnight.
Money moves between wallets inside PesewaPay, so a transfer is one movement rather than a payment out of one system and into another. That is why it is instant, and why it either happens completely or does not happen at all.
For a direct send, yes — the money goes into their PesewaPay wallet. To collect from somebody without an account, use a Payment Link, which anyone can pay by mobile money.
The person you are paying, by phone number. You are shown their name before you continue, so a wrong digit is caught before the money moves, not after.
The amount, any charge, and what leaves your wallet, on one screen.
Immediately. Both of you are notified.
Each of these is enforced in the software rather than stated as a policy. A policy can be broken; these cannot.
Both sides of a transfer are written in a single action. There is no state where the money has left your wallet and not arrived in theirs — not while a system is busy, not if something fails halfway.
A send that your balance cannot cover is refused before anything moves. PesewaPay does not lend you money by accident.
PesewaPay is not on the app stores yet. Join the early access list and we will tell you the day it is — no other mail, and nothing shared.
